EDIT (3/9/2020): After some deliberation, I decided to rewrite the dialogue bubble in Panel 6 to remove a slur in it. I feel like leaving it in sent the wrong message, that I value "accurately archiving my comics" over the pain that the word's presence may cause. The word usage was made at a time where I did not truly understand the hurt that this word could cause, and then when I realized it I took too long to act on it. This was a very irresponsible decision, and I am deeply sorry for any harm that I have caused by not making the edit sooner.
Hey folks! Artful here. I decided after a bit of considering to go ahead and upload my old incomplete Crystal Nuzlocke from all the way back in late 2010. It got axed because of a combination of losing all my data in a computer crash, and from getting too little attention (mostly that first one)... a disappointing end to something that had a fair amount of potential.
Back in the day, I used to have a much less cartoony style. I had more detailed eyes, and actually drew fingers! The trade-off was that I wasn't very skilled with poses. As such, most of the panels, especially in the first three pages, consist basically of "character faces the viewer", which could get repetitive. While my style for the Leaf Green Nuzlocke comic is much simpler, I'd say it's more flexible, at least in my opinion. Kind of like using play-doh to learn how to make 3D models, I guess? xD
Another difference is mainly the fact that this run is much more comedic compared to my slightly more plot-oriented LG Nuzlocke comic. I guess if that's something you like, then these 6 or so pages will be a treat for you!
My plan is to upload one page every day until all 6 parts have been uploaded. I also had a 7th part that never got finished, so I might upload that as well if I can scan it. This is a little something to hold you all over until Page 9 is done, in case something postpones its updating.
